Today is the gift that we have … we actually have … and if I wouldn’t have my meditation practise … I really don’t know how my mindset would be … it would wander and buy into the mindgames (also often called mindf***) the media loves so much …
There are these moments when I really feel the uncertainty coming up … I am not sure if you heard, but most of our house sits were cancelled, and thanks to so many lovely friends we have options now where to stay for the next 2 months … but still … it bugs you, doesn’t it?
That you don’t know how it is going to be in the future … hahahahaha … realistically … we never did … but we had this illusion of certainty … time ticking along … just ticking along … this illusion of certainty … and that illusion is now gone … but, really … we never had it … it is the illusion that has been taken from us …
So, the more you buy into the panic and hectic, the more harm is done … and it doesn’t change anything, does it?
Take some time out EVERY day … at least 20 min … many of us have that time now … and some even more than that … to concentrate / meditate / contemplate … being in the here and now … concentrate on the breath, on the clouds going by, on the birds singing, on the wind in the trees, on the waves … whatever is present … and you will feel … you are still the same … and you will be the same … even if nothing is the same around you anymore … you are …
